ELISABETH TUPMAN (DOUBLE KNEE REPLACEMENT IN MALTA FOR BETTY) I initially chose to go abroad for my Operation Abroad after receiving their information and after finding out how friendly
the staff there were. I could not wait in pain any longer. My quality of life was terrible. I was concerned about going abroad,
what would the hospitals be like? Would the staff speak English? However the staff reassured me that I would never
have seen a hospital like it and that all the staff spoke fluent English, so I decided to go ahead and booked for myself and
my friend to go to the St James Hospital in Malta for 3 weeks for a knee replacement. The girls were right, the hospital was
lovely, I was greeted and made to feel welcome immediately. The hospital staff spoke fluent English and nothing was too
much trouble for them. I have never seen such a clean hospital in my life. I decided whilst I was there that I may as well
both knees replaced rather than just the one, so I had a double knee replacement performed. Afterwards the surgeon and
head doctor visited me daily during my stay and showed how much they cared. The hotel where my friend stayed whilst I
was in hospital was next door and that was beautiful also and so handy for visiting me. The girls delivered everything that
they said they would as did the St James Hospital. They delivered first class service from my initial enquiry.
They gave me every bit of information, such as who would operate, exact details of the hotel and the hospital and even
contacts for during my stay in Malta. I have now totally recovered from the operation and it is like I can live a normal life
again. I am now not stuck in the house and can finally drive again. MOIRA RYAN (MOIRA CHOSE MALTA FOR HER HIP REPLACEMENT) Moira, 69, went to Malta with her son to have her hip replacement after being refused treatment on the NHS due to being overweight. She was treated at the St James Hospital in Sliema, Malta. “I was very happy with all the service received from everyone involved in arranging my operation. I was very satisfied with
the level of care. It was a life improving operation and I would recommend this company to anyone”. ANNE SLATER (ANNE FLEW TO MALTA FOR HER COSMETIC SURGERY HOLIDAY) “I am more than pleased. I have had no problems since my operation was performed in Malta. I decided after losing weight
that it was time to take the plunge and have a Breast Reduction and Tummy Tuck. I initially chose to go to Malta due to the
choice and high standard of hospitals and that as a total package price it was cheaper to go to Malta than have the operation
in the UK and also that they organised everything for me such as travel, accommodation etc. Mrs Whettam arranged for her husband Graham, 79, to go to Malta for his hip replacement so he did not have to endure lengthy NHS waiting lists and also as they were both very worried about the increasing levels of MRSA and other infections within UK hospitals. Mrs Whettam’s comments after Graham’s operation were:- “I decided to take my husband to Malta, booking the hip replacement package, because of a worrying deterioration in his
health in addition to the incapacitating pain of a "rotten hip". I felt he could not wait the five months proposed for an
NHS operation. I booked an extra week in Malta because of my concerns and anticipated need for more time. BRENDA GREY BRENDA CHOSE MALTA FOR HER DOUBLE KNEE REPLACEMENT TO AVOID MRSA & TO SAVE MONEY COMPARED TO UK PRIVATE HEALTHCARE PRICES Mrs Grey, 62, needed both knees replacing. She chose Malta as she found it to be excellent value for money and also as it is much safer as there is no MRSA. Her comments upon her return to the UK were:- “From the initial enquiry about having a double knee replacement the staff were extremely helpful and very courteous. Both my husband and I were very impressed with all the services that were given to us, including a first class consultant, Anaesthetist, nursing staff and all the others involved in our stay at the St James Hospital in Sliema, Malta. I would recommend this hospital for it’s cleanliness and impressive care and attention including good food w ROY TURFF ROY, 77, HAD HIS KNEE REPLACEMENT AT THE ST JAMES HOSPITAL IN MALTA
MARGARET, 73, FROM BELFAST COMBINED HER SURGERY WITH A HOLIDAY WHEN SHE TOOK HER HUSBAND, DAUGHTER AND GRANDSON WITH HER TO MALTA FOR HER HIP REPLACEMENT
26 YR OLD CHEF FLIES TO MALTA FOR WRIST OPERATION Local chef, Benjamin Denton from Launceston, Cornwall, recently returned from having surgery at the St James Hospital in Sliema, Malta. after having much needed surgery on his wrist that was not readily available in the UK. In fact I cannot think of any ways at all that they could improve their service.”
Joan from Lancashire went to Malta for a face & neck lift “I would recommend ‘Surgery In Malta’ to anyone. The care & consideration in the hospital was excellent and the surgeon was great, he has even called me since I have been home. The room at the hotel was lovely, right on the sea front and the food was great. I was well looked after. The cosmetic surgery (face lift) has totally changed my life for the better and I feel much more confident now. I would like to say a special thank you to Suzanne in the UK, and Victor & Edward from the hospital.
Sue from Bristol went to Malta for a face lift It took me ages to make up my mind as you hear all sorts of horror stories about going abroad for surgery, but I was reassured by the staff in the UK that everything was above board so I just decided to go for it! They were right, it totally exceeded my expectations. The hospital was similar to a 5 star hotel, the surgeons were top class and the staff were so friendly and made me feel so comftorable especially as I went by myself. I would definitely recommend surgery in Malta.
Rod from Nottingham went for intragastric balloon I found the company on the internet and was delighted when I called that I was actually dealing with someone in the UK. I needed to lose quite a bit of weight so Suzanne at Surgery In Malta recommended the intragastric balloon, not as invasive as having a band fitted (no surgery involved) but to my delight I had the same results and lost 4 stone in 6 months, I could have lost a bit more too if I’d have stuck to the eating plan properly. Everyone was so professional & so caring Thanks to everyone involved.
